Antique Victorian Walnut Music Cabinet

A Fine quality music cabinet in an amazing original condition.

We are delighted to bring to you one of the finest examples of a rare Victorian (circa 1880) music cabinet made from fine figured Walnut. This simple yet elegant cabinet is in fantastic original condition featuring its original beautiful original lightly faded french polished finish and Walnut colour. The glazed and moulded framed door is lockable via its original brass lock and original key behind its brass escutcheon. The door is flanked either side by its lovely canted corners which is a theme throughout the piece . Opening the door reveals its shelves with their lovely original gold leaf genre labels to the canted frontage. Underneath the shelves is a triple divided compartment for 78 rpm gramophone vinyls.

We have sympathetically restored, carefully cleaned and waxed this cabinet, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen and the item is ready for its new home.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
