Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
A fantastic small tilt top table.
This table has been restored, having the top been expertly French Polished in our workshop to match the beautiful original finish of the base. The table has a lovely highly glazed French polished finish and deep rich Mahogany colour.

Due to this tables modest proportions, this table is ideal to be used as a hall/side table or a small breakfast/dining table for 2, whilst still being incredibly well built making this a very solid table. Already not taking up too much room because of its design, the top tilts upright for storage so can wheeled in a corner when not in use.

This stunning and very unusual table features a one piece solid Mahogany top with the most beautiful and interesting striking figured dark streaked grain.
The tilt top base features a substantial bulbous turned pillar which descends to quadripartite elegantly curved and shaped legs which are fluted and scroll carved and finish to its original 4 discreet brass castors which all work perfectly.

Unusually and as a sign of quality this tilt top table has no movement or play in the mechanism as the table is being normally used, the top is flat with no bowing or twisting and its original brass banjo latch operates with little effort and a satisfying click.

This item is in outstanding restored condition as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes and scuffs here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
