French Chinoiserie Style Jardiniere with Tile Panels by Radot, Paris

Description

A 19th century French jardiniere on stand in chinoiserie style, the front and sides of the top inset with tuble lined and hand painted faience tile panels of dragons and birds within fretwork borders, the ebonised base chased and pierced with foliate scrolls, corner brackets and upon slender cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet.

The base has traces of old worm (no longer present and recenty treated), the two back feet have missing elements.
