A pretty Coalport porcelain pedestal vase of campagna shape with wide flared neck and lion mask terminals to the side handles. A deep underglaze mazarine blue ground with vase and mirror shaped reserves, ornately edged in gilt, well painted with garden flowers in bright enamels of red, pink, purple and blue. Gilt frieze runs inside the neck and finished with gilded rims. Unmarked, c.1815.
It measures 14cm (5 1/2'') high and 10.5cm (4 1/8'') wide.
In good condition: one of the handles has been professionally repaired and re-gilded. Two glaze flakes on the edge of the foot and a short tight glaze line at the rim. Minimal handling wear to the gilding and enamels.
