Description

Dating to the Napoleon III era, around 1860, this highly decorative desk accessory is lucky enough to have retained all of it's original polished ormolu fittings, which I have had my restorer professionally re-polish.

Perfect as a letter rack or stationery holder for correspondence cards or the like with the interior compartments measuring 4 3/4" wide. While in the workshop I had some new green baize placed on the underside to avoid any scratching to your desktop.

Superb condition, the footprint measures 6 3/4" x 4 3/4", standing 9" at the rear.
