Description

Antique Ebonised Single Fusee Four Glass Mantel Clock By Webster London.

This stunning miniature single fusee mantel clock has n ebonised case with a fantastic finish. The case then has a lovely shaped top with a shaped brass carry handle and a brass moulding beneath said handle. The body of the case is then square with a shaped moulding to the top edge and a lovely viewing window to each side, with each window allowing the sides of the movement to be seen. The base of the case is then stepped out with a shaped moulding and is finished by four shaped brass feet attached to the final brass base.

The dial is then silvered and is set out in black roman numerals with a thin ring to the outside marking the minutes. The dial is then arched in shape and is signed by the maker to the bottom "WEBSTER LONDON". Finally the dial is finished by two lovely shaped hands as well as a protective glass set into the front door.

The movement is then wound and accessed from the back. It is a single chain fusee example of the upmost quality and is ticking away as it should. The movement runs on a balance wheel and is complete with its winding key.

It measures approximately:

- 11.5" / 29.25cm Tall With Handle Up.

- 6.5" / 16.5cm Wide.

- 5.25' / 13cm Deep.
