Description

Antique silver Waltham pocket watch, 1903.

The watch has a good quality 15 jewel stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working well. The signed movement has the serial number 13282052 which dates it back to 1903. It is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is .935 silver and there are continental .935 silver marks inside both of the hinged case backs. The case has some wear to the engine turned detail and mild bruising to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1900s piece.

The glass lens has some minor marks but you have to look through a jewellers loupe to see them.

The signed dial has a very faint hairline crack at 1 o'clock but difficult to see with the naked eye. Otherwise it is in nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
