Description

A fine arts and crafts period silver vase of tapering shape with circular belly in the centre. Spot hammered surface with moulded stylised acanthus leaf decoration as a girdle around the base and engraved frieze around the belly of a scrolling vine. Hallmarked for London 1901, makers Johnson, Walker & Tolhurst Ltd.

It measures 18cm (7 1/8") high and 10.3cm (4 1/8") wide and weighs 429g / 13.8ozt.

In excellent condition with no dents or damage. Very fractional and usual distortion of the rim and very minor handling wear.
