Empire Style Standard Lamp C.1930

1920 - 1940
Description

Remarkable French Empire style standard lamp c.1930. Single bulb on a square tapering obelisk column with beautifully figured ash veneers and tulipwood crossbanding. Acanthus carved top in walnut and large acanthus brass mounts around the base of the column. On a turned walnut plinth with deep brass egg and dart moulding and raised on large brass claw feet. Excellent condition with repairs to the crossbanding. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Rewired and PAT tested.
