Fine Bow Corner Cupboard Cabinet Antique Georgian C1780

Description

Exceptional George lll Bow Fronted Corner Cabinet - c1780

This cabinet is in excellent order and the quality of the piece is defined by the excellent mahogany grain and the lovely upper and lower molding detail.

The pair of bow doors hang on external 'H' hinges and contain a functioning lock mechanism complete with key.

Internally reside a pair of full shelves with a detailed and shaped edge profile and a side trim shelf to the lower area which allows a taller item to be stored.

The exterior benefits from attractive lock escutcheons. To the back there is fitted a pair of fixing plates to facilitate easy wall mounting.

Overall a lovely example of and English corner cabinet which is rare to find and offers a good investment.
