Edwardian Antique Mahogany Single Wardrobe

An attractive Edwardian antique mahogany single wardrobe. The antique wardrobe has a moulded cornice to the top, with decorative marquetry to the front. The mahogany wardrobe has a single door to the centre with a full length bevelled edged mirror. The single door wardrobe opens to reveal a neat interior, with a shelf to the top, five brass hanging hooks, and rotating hanging hooks to the middle. Raised on bracket feet. A rather pleasing example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the front, sides and interior (pictured), also age-related foxing to the mirror (pictured). One of the original hanging hooks has been replaced (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm to the back (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique mahogany single wardrobe remains structurally solid and sound, with the glass intact. Comes apart in two sections for ease of transport (top lifts off). Overall, a good example of its kind.
