Antique Stained Oak Cupboard

An attractive 18th century antique stained oak cupboard. The antique cupboard has a moulded cornice to the top with decorative carvings. The cupboard has a single full width door, which opens to reveal a spacious interior with four wooden hooks to the top. Raised on shaped bracket feet. Complete with working lock and key. A particularly pleasing example, with lovely carved detailing.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the front and sides (pictured), also shrinkage to the front and splits to the sides (pictured). The antique stained oak cupboard remains structurally solid and sound. There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Complete with working lock and key. Overall, a good example of an antique cupboard.
