Lincoln Restorations has dated this Edwardian Walnut Nursing Chair to the Edwardian era.
An attractive nursing chair.
This chair features a shaped top rail to a simple stick back with a shield serpentine seat completed with an upholstered pad. The chair stands on simple turned legs legs with H stretchers between.

This chair has been recently re-upholstered (approximately 5 years ago) to a high standard in a gold Brocade material which is in a fantastic clean condition with virtually no wear (from a smoke and pet free home). The material could be left as it because of its fantastic used condition or it could be fully upholstered to your taste. We would be able to quote for re-upholstering this chair for you if you enquire.

This item is structurally solid, in good order with no loose joints. The material and traditional inner padding seems to be in very good condition and the chair is comfortable to sit in. The chair does have a minor old repair to the top rail but it has been done well and is strong.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but does have some signs of wear and tear, however, we feel that these points are which adds to part of its charm and character with it being antique.
