Stunning 19th century French Louis XV mirror in exceptional condition.
It dates from the late 1800s.
It has its real gilt and bare gesso frame with an incredible amount of gorgeous ornate gesso detail including its magnificent, large crest and scrolls on either side.
It has its original wide bevelled glass with no scratches and it''s original pine backboards with the maker''s stamp! Always lovely to know where is has come from.
It would make a very elegant overmantel mirror or look beautiful in a hall above a console perhaps.
