French Brass Gilt Fender

Description

A very good quality French Belle Epoque extending brass fender with twisting foliate poppy stems terminating to buds and flowers. The fender has a gadroon shaped moulding with central floral leaf design and can be extended from 36 inches to 54 inches to suit different hearth sizes.

The brass has been cleaned and lacquered to prevent tarnishing.
