Antique Oak Bureau

A well presented early 20th century antique oak bureau. The antique bureau has a fall front that opens to reveal a neat fitted interior, consisting of eight pigeon holes, two drawers and a central cupboard. Below the fall front is an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers, each with swan neck drop handles. The oak bureau is raised on bracket feet. Maker’s mark to the inside of the top drawer (pictured).

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the front and sides (pictured), also shrinkage splits to the sides. There are further scratches, marks and stains to the interior (pictured). The antique oak bureau remains structurally solid and sound, with most of the drawers running well (top right quite stiff). Overall, a neat example.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
