A good and useful George III style 19th. century mahogany bookcase having a swan neck pediment terminating in carved flower head rosettes and open fret work. The moulded cornice above twin astragal glazed doors which retain the original floated glass panels. The doors open via the original brass lock and key to reveal 3 adjustable shelves. The base section having twin panelled doors with applied mouldings and corner carved roundels and again with original lock and key, the interior with an adjustable shelf and the whole raised on an offset moulding with shaped bracket feet.
