Tinker & Toad has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The background landscape with windmills, church spires and birds in flight. We particularly like skill of hand to the embroidery on the bonnet and the lovely colour to the flowers. The hint of orange to the sunset sky behind the left windmill is also rather charming. Signs of discolouration and marks commensurate to age and use. Please note there is some reflection on the glass in the photographs. We can have this re-glazed with museum glass if you so wish free of charge.
