Antique Oak Monks Bench

A neatly proportioned Jacobean revival antique oak monks bench. The antique oak monks bench has a rectangular shaped backrest with decorative carved detail, which also flips over and rests on the arms to create a table top. The carved oak monks bench has a solid rectangular shaped hinged seat that becomes a useful under tier shelf when transformed into a table. The hinged seat opens to reveal a spacious storage compartment below. Raised on a plinth base. Attractive colour and carved detailing throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the sides, seat and backrest (pictured), also fading to the front, armrests, top and seat (pictured). The antique oak monks bench remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a neat example.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
