A large brass alms dish bearing the engraved Head of John the Baptist and the motto ''Pensans Anno Domino 1614'' (the year Penzance was incorporated). Bearing no makers marks, but dating to the 19th Century. With a visible seam to the central bowl and a wide rim.
The condition is good overall with no dents or splits. Slight wear marks to the seam and a few stubborn black spots to the rim.
