Description

A fantastic original Art Deco dress clip in solid silver set with vivid royal blue and bright white table-cut pastes. The pastes are channel set with detailed milgrain edging and all are well matched and super sparkly. There's a lovely attention to detail all over and the back of the clip is almost as pretty as the front.

We have hung the clip on a vintage sterling silver chain, ready to wear as a pendant.

The clip is stamped "935" - a silver fineness higher than sterling silver (925). We most often see 935 on pieces from Germany, Austria and Switzerland c.1920s-40s.

The centre paste has a chip but the clip and chain are otherwise in excellent vintage condition. The hinge is nice and strong with good grip.

Size: Approx 1cm x 3.4cm.

Chain length: Approximately 20 inches (around 50cm).
