Description

A lovely late 19th century French semainier (tall chest of drawers) in the Louis XVI style. Well constructed with attractive kingwood and rosewood veneers onto a solid oak carcas. With a series of 7 drawers (lockable, key supplied). Embellished with feather and dart inlaid checquer banding throughout. Further adorned with crisply cast gilt metal mounts. All surmounted by a variagated rouge marble top. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
