A Queen Anne period, red walnut framed, dining or side chair, Circa 1705. This chair in typical Queen Anne style, with solid vasiform splat, drop in seat, over cabriole front legs on off-set pad feet, splayed rear legs, all supported by turned and block H-stretcher. The seat has recently been re-upholstered, in traditional method, using much of the original upholstery, and the old fabric. Which though probably not original to the chair is at least from the C19th.
A handsome and quality chair, with some minor flaws, but in good original condition and ready for use.

This chair measures approximately 95.5 cm (37.5'') tall, 54.5 cm (21.5'') wide, and 49.5 cm (19.5'') deep. The seat height is approximately 46 cm (18'').
