A Queen Anne period, red walnut gateleg side table of small proportions, Circa 1710. With oblong shaped top, drop leaves to either side, supported by a single gateleg. Single drawer with brass pull handle to one end of the frieze. Substructure of barley-twist supports, with oblong stretchers on short turned feet.
A rare and very useful little table, with some sympathetic repairs but very charming and full of character. Very good, colour, polish and patina and very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 70 cm (27.5'') tall, 82.5 cm (32.5'') wide leaves up, and 30.5 cm (12'') wide leaves down, 66 cm (26'') deep.
