19th Century Antique Ash Chest of Drawers

An attractive 19th century antique ash chest of drawers. The antique chest of drawers has a rectangular shaped top above an arrangement of two short over two long drawers, each with decorative drop handles. The ash chest of drawers is raised on turned feet with a shaped apron to the front and sides. A rather pleasing example, with beautiful reeded detailing throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the front and top (pictured), further marks, scratches and splits to the sides (pictured). The handles each have age-related patina (pictured), however this adds to the charm and they remain functional. The antique ash chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.
