Description

Gents 1960s Freeson chronograph wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, a Landeron 48, which is working nicely. This movement was in production from 1937 until 1970, we would date this particular example to the 1960s.

The watch is a good size at 37mm diameter excluding the buttons and the lugs. The case is chromium plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The case is in good condition, just the odd small mark, nothing serious at all.

The lens has a small mark, less than 1mm diameter, but otherwise is in good condition.

The dial is signed Freeson, probably a brand name but not officially registered. The dial is in its original finish with original hands and two subsidiary dials, one for constant seconds and the other to record up to 30 minutes.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
