This hand-crafted Early 20th Century English diorama contains 2 ship models.
Both ships are made from wood, paper, and rope, mounted onto a hand painted gesso sea with landscape painted backdrop, with a small wooden lighthouse in the bottom right-hand corner. Housed in a bespoke pine case with its original glass front still intact. A rare survivor, with a highly decorative naive folk-art look.

Size of inches approx.: H 11” x W 17” x D 5.5”
Completely solid in structure and form, with natural wear across the entire item, surface has had natural faded, loss and worn marks as shown. The bottom of the diorama has a green velvet cloth stuck on to protect the surface its placed on. This is an old object so please review the photos carefully that reflect the condition of the item.
