Large Pair of Silver Candlesticks

1900 - 1920
Description

A Pair of Large Silver Candlesticks.

Each with a dished and scalloped drip pan, set with spreading leaves to each corner. The drip pans fitting within campana shaped candle holders, above a knop, decorated with hanging leaves. The fluted stems in the form of rising leaves, over a concave and convex boss, spreading into the scallop profile and stepped bases, decorated with spreading leaves to each corner, as per the drip pans.

The candle stick and drip pan Hallmarked for William Hutton & Son, London 1905.
