Delightful Art Nouveau Silver & Amethyst Glass Hat Pin by Pearce & Thompson, Birmingham 1909

1900 - 1920
Description

This delightful silver hat pin is hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 and bears the marks of Pearce & Thompson. The steel pin mounted with a wirework silver final inset with an amethyst paste stone very much in the Art Nouveau manner.

Hallmarks:

P&T for Pearce & Thompson.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "k" for 1909.

Dimensions:

Length: 28.5cm / 11 inches.

Condition:

Good.

Would make a wonderful addition to a hat pin collection.
