An Unusual Victorian Glass Dump with Sulphide Crown

Description

A rare Victorian glass dump or paperweight. This wonderful piece is in bottle green glass and features a sulphide of a Crown. The body is ovoid with a flattened base for stability. With a number of uses, this is an attractive and collectable example. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no cracks or chips or scratching. There are internal flaws as to be expected. There is one bruise to the base and part of the Crown is broken to the bottom l/h side from manufacture, as seen in the photographs.

Diameter :- 8 cms. (widest point).
