Description

The "Celestial Dragons" bowl, by Wedgwood.

A Wedgwood dragon Lustre bowl, octagonal form,designed by Daisy Makeig Jones, pattern Z4829. Dated to the roaring 1920s.

The Fairyland Lustre line was an immediate hit when first released by Wedgwood in 1915 it was in production to 1931 and has remained an extremely popular and sought after series to this day. Decorated on the upper rim and on the rim of the bottom with a Greek pattern, and on the outside and inside are golden dragons, birds, and buildings,

Truly, a very large bowl, and stamp at the bottom is very clear. The gilding and paints in excellent condition.

There's a small haircrack at the bottom from the inside, you can't see it from the outside. The paint and gilding are in perfect condition, inside on the walls of the paint faded, some where there are cracks in paint.Please carefully regard all photos.

But the image of the dragon at the bottom is very clear from the inside.
