In the central design there is a vacant mother of pearl cartouche which is perfect for inscription
The keyhole is also trimmed with mother-of-pearl. The kit includes a key. The lock is working.
Also included are two inkwells with brass covers. In one inkwell, the lid twists tightly, while the other one rotates freely.
When opened, we see another mother-of-pearl pattern on the inner cover.
