Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
From the founding of the factory until 1938, 12,000 different models were made.

The factory, founded by model-drawer Eduard Eichler, was named "Royal Dux" in 1898.
The famous pink triangle with an "E" in the middle appeared for the first time in 1900.
It can be assumed that this figurine was made in 1900-1903.

The figurine represents a mythical girl from German folklore - Lorele.
And if in some Royal Dux figures we notice average quality of a mass market product, this sculpture was clearly made to attract the attention of the most sophisticated connoisseurs.

It is with works such as this one that Royal Dux has earned its place among the best porcelain factories in the world.
The face of this figurine truly captures the seductive allure of the sorceress of the Lorelei legend.

There is a slight, hardly noticeable thickening of the left forearm, but it is possibly due to the manufacturing proceas. No damage, chips or cracks. Even the flowers on the base are in good condition.
