A Continental novelty porcelain dish, late 19th /early 20th century, the shell shaped dish with two frogs scanning the horizon, the frog in the front wearing a top hat and holding a boot,

From a rare series of novelty frog dishes which were possibly originially fairings, although they are very nicely modelled.

One small chip to the left hand corner edge under the frog's foot and another to the right hand corner edge.
