At first glance this table doesn''t immediately look like an example by Cottier & Co., Gillows and Collinson & Lock made tables of a similar style and quality tables. However, the distinctive, incised decoration radiating from the corners and headed with punched dot motifs, may point to Cottier & Co. as the maker.
Dimensions: 63.5cm high x 54cm square
Condition: Structurally sound, no breaks or repairs. The top is uniformly faded and has some isolated scuffs and scratches and some light historic dent marks concentrated around the corners. Elsewhere, some very minor wear commensurate with age.
The colour isn''t great on some of these images, happy to provide additional ones if required.
