A Stunning Edwardian William Comyns Silver Double Playing Card Box

A superb example of a full size Edwardian playing cards box, in hallmarked silver and with a richly gilded interior. The rectangular box has a hinged lid and was made by the great William Comyns. The front and back is embossed in Rococo decoration and each features a vacant cartouche. Two sets of vintage playing cards are included and each set has rules for Contract Bridge. A wonderful collector's item, usable today. Dimensions below.
