A Superb Georgian Cut Glass Boat Salt with Period Silver Gilt Spoon

A superb cut glass salt or condiment boat dating from the late 18th Century. This gorgeous example has extensive cutting to the body, a moulded stem and foot with a lemon squeezer base. A hallmarked silver spoon, with a mother-of-pearl handle from the Georgian era, is included.

The boat is of usable size and would make a useful and attractive addition to a well laid table, serving as a salt, parmesan or mustard bowl. Alternative ideas are sauces, such as mint, cranberry, mayonnaise etc. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good with no cracks or chips. There are a couple of very small fleabites to the edges, commensurate with age and use. The spoon is undamaged with no splits, dents or gilding loss.
