Antique English Salver by Padley Parkin & Co. C.1850

Description

A really unusual example of a Victorian silver plated salver standing on the three most exquisite cast legs.

The salver has a heavy repousse border followed by a linear engraved border, which I haven't seen before, quite beautiful. The central engraving is almost in the shape of an English or Tudor Rose with a single decorative letter " F " in the centre.

Dating to around 1850, it remains in excellent condition with the hand mark on the underside from Padley Parkin & Company. 12 1/2" in diameter.
