This is a stylish antique silver plated desk inkstand. The plain glass silver plated mounted inkwell sits within its square frame. The sides are of cow horn with an elaborately engraved silver plated front, shaped handle and tips. It is balanced with a rod with a ball end. c.1880 British made with a makers mark stamped underneath. This has not been replated. Sold in original condition with slight wear.
