A bronze sculpture of magnificent detail featuring a hunter and hound set amongst a naturalistic outcrop. The dog lunges forward enthusiastically and has to be tempered by the gentleman clad in traditional hunting attire. Bearing Pierre Jules Mene signature and dated 1879.
