Edwardian 1.80 Carat Natural Pink Sapphire & 2.30 Carat Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1910

Description

An awesome unheated pink sapphire and old cut diamond cluster ring. The cushion shaped centre stone – certified as natural and unheated – is a glowingly warm and bright pink, and is secured by twelve yellow gold claws and surrounded by twelve white and bright old cut diamond in a platinum coronet setting above an intricate yellow gold gallery. The shoulders are set with a further six (three either side) old cut diamonds of graduating sized to a slender 18k yellow gold shank. A truly special piece.

Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating.

Cut – Cushion cut sapphire with old cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. (The diamonds are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.)

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.80 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 2.30 carat.

Circa – 1910.

Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 8.4 x 7.5mm. The head of the ring is 15.9 x 13.4 and sits 6.9mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold and platinum. Tested.
