Very handsome solid walnut carved Henri 11 style Emperor size bed. Raised geometric panels with gadrooned borders and carved and turned pillars. Substantial quality with original gold lining. The bed has been sympathetically cleaned and polished to preserve lovely rich patina. The bed separates into four parts for ease off transport and assembly. Can stand alone as two single beds.

Side rails extended to suit modern length Emperor mattress 7' x 6'6" /210 x 200. This is the biggest handsome bed we have found in thirty years of searching.

Foot board height 90cm

Side rail height 33.5cm

Overall width 219.5cm

Price includes wood slats.(sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed with a 4" platform top base>We can also supply hand made mattresses at this size in all comfort choices. Please see our web site or e mail for full specifications and prices.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
