This well-modelled and well-detailed VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE depicts the young PRINCE OF WALES (later King Edward VII) on HORSEBACK. The Figure is decorated in the round.

The decoration of the mane and tail of the horse are notable.

The condition is good with no restoration.

It is illustrated in A & N Harding’s Staffordshire Figures 1835-75 Book 1 Page 185 Figure 580.

Height: 9 inches (23 cm)
