ANTIQUE #SA974073

Late 17th/early 18th C. Painted Small Pine Grandfather Longcase Clock - John Welsh Luton Bedfordshire

£895    $1,159    €1,072
Though there is no John Welsh of Luton listed by Brian Loomes there is a John Welch of near by Chesham Buckinghamshire, Circa 1700. There was also a Joseph Welch around the same time and surmise that John may have have to extend his area of working.

The painted case shows signs of its years but is still sound and solid. Ideal for an old cottage or kitchens of a grander house. Elm Backboard.
