A very handsome, solid silver Christening set in the original case, comprising Egg Cup, Spoon and Napkin ring. All the pieces are hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date for 1958,  Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker''s marks for Adie Brothers.  Lovely plain polished silver with a stylish protruding border to the edges of the egg cup and napkin ring. The interior of both the egg cup and napkin are unusually decorated with columns of silver, making the overall appearance exceptional.  All of the three pieces are in great antique condition.  A very superior set, and a good heavy gauge of silver  The set comes in the original black leatherette case with a cream silk and black velvet interior.
