Victorian Burr Walnut Sutherland Drop Leaf Table

Description

An attractive Victorian burr walnut drop-leaf Sutherland table. The shaped top having well matched burr walnut and a thumb moulded edge. The table is supported on dual end supports with fluted and gadrooned carved decoration, terminating in carved and shaped legs with brass castors and porcelain wheels. The leaves are supported on ring turned gate legs and brass and porcelain sliders. Both ends joined by a strengthening cross stretcher. This table offers a large top when open and takes up a small space when not in use. Condition- very good with a warm colour. Dimensions:- Height…28’’/ 71cm. Maximum Width Open…41.75’’/ 106cm. Width…33.25’’/ 84.5cm. Minimum Depth at Feet…12’’/ 30.5cm. Delivery to most of mainland U.K £48.00
