Boxed Set of Six Silver Stirrup Mugs

1920 - 1940
Description

A Set of Six Silver Stirrup Mugs.

Each of classical tankard shape, with a stepped rim, above the outward and downward tapering sides, sweeping into a ringed socle, before the outward spreading and stepped circular foot. Each mug with a thumb grip and scrolled handle.

Hallmarked for Adie Brothers, Birmingham 1928.

Complete with original blue and gilt Morocco box, with a silk velvet lining.

Width 2 inches, 5cm.
