Small Fine Old Sheffield Plated Sauce Tureen C1820

Description

A fine sauce tureen of small proportions. Bearing no makers mark, but made of Old Sheffield Plate and dating to c1820. Crested to both the body and the lid. With elegant firm handles and reeded edging.

The condition is very good and the plating is largely intact with only minor copper bleed visible to the lid. A good clean interior. A very useable piece.

Weight approx 530g.
