Description

One of the rarest of Scottish Provincial Silver spoons from the very scarce town of Peterhead. It was made around 1810 by William Ferguson while working in Peterhead. Of all the town marks which are collected by Scottish Provincial Silver collectors this is one of the rarest. Very few pieces survive especially in such good condition with such crisp marks. It is marked "WF" "PHD" on the terminal. A really collectable spoon.
