Gustave painted Landscapes, Highland Scenes, Marine and Coastal views portraying the sea in all weather conditions
with a preference for stormy weather. Ports, Coastal Landscapes and Boats. He painted similar to his older brother
Alfred, but in a broader and more impressionist style.
He was a strong supporter of the Suffolk St. Galleries in which he exhibited 51 canvasses, 8 at the Royal Academy, 7 at the
Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin and many other Galleries throughout the country.
